Melon schmelon..

Hi all :)
How are you beautiful people?  The weather is becoming better and so am I ;)
Also a lot of festivals and weddings are approaching and that means even lesser time for crafting :(
I've made a bright colorful card today and thought I'd share it with you guys.

Have a look

I have made this card on plain white cardstock. i have lightly inked the background with pink ink, drew circles on orange paper, the green edges and the seeds of the melon are embossed with clear embossing powder though I couldnt capture that in the pictures. The sentiment as usual is hand written :)...I think the sentiment has a nice sound to it :D
I also feel that the pictures have come out better this time...much better than my previous posts...thank God for that.. and I would also specially like to thank Dr. Sonia  for her tips on photography.

Im putting up this card for the following challenges-
Beyond grey challenges #18 - Photo inspiration
Sentimental Sundays - Anything Goes
Annabelle Stamps - say it with thanks

Happy a happy colorful day.
thanks for dropping by..xox..

I love cream n gold!

Heyyy,

I find the color combination of gold and cream very elegant and striking..what about you?
I made a card today with this color combination only. It's a simple one layer card and just has a hint of red for the sentiment which is handwritten. Actually I don't have any sentiment stamps and so I write them by hand, hence its not that perfect. The design is also made by hand again :))

The sentiment was stuck on with glue drops and I checked that it can be taken off...i just might do that coz I don't like it too much..let's see...

Just linking it to the ongoing celebration at Sindhu's blog...click here to check it out..
Cheers..
Hugs :)

A floral card

Hello there,
A big hug to u if you're reading this..feels great to know that people are going through my blog.
I've made a shabby chic card or rather I've tried to make one and I'm not very happy with the end result. So I've decided that I'll keep on practicing until I make a good one.
I'm linking this card for the following challenges -
Colleen's shabby chic challenge at Yvonne's blog (Do more with less )
Crafters corner challenge #1 - celebrate with flowers
Sindhu's ' trapped in craft ' challenge #2
Beyond Grey challenges - photo inspiration

The flowers are handmade and the butterflies are also hand drawn and cut. The white base is painted and sanded for a vintage-y look. And the sentiment is also hand written. The laces and pearls are from my stash.

Have a good day and keep crafting.
Adios :))
